I had to cut the new grip off and I am pretty sure the glue got in by the hole on the end of the handlebar. I'm thinking the throttle is stuck to the handlebar. I wanted some advice before I fix the problem. Do I simply take the throttle body off and clean the glue off or is there something else I need to do.
WebSep 17, 2024 · My throttle has been sticking and very slowly returning to position. I took it apart and off the bike and discovered that the bar (picture below) is pretty gummy and rough on the section where the throttle tube normally sits. I think this is the culprit.
