Web7 mei 2013 · This is a common occurence on Hondas (fans never come on after a coolant drain & fill). Easy way to get around it is to run the engine for 10 minutes, then shut it off. The T-stat will then open from heat-soak, and purge the air from the upper reaches of the system. After the engine cools down, you can top off the coolant and continue filling.
