Cd tray won't stay closed

Whenever I try to close it, the tray goes in, the green light flashes 2-3 times, and then the tray pops back out again. … Webthere are some sensors that tell the Xbox/cd drive that is need to be closed because of pressure or that it can't close. My guess is that those sensors are not working properly. For starters I would suggest opening it and cleaning the cd drive, there might be some dust or something there (and you might as well clean the rest while you're at it).
