So you gotta ignore it in Blockbench. Ingame it should work if you follow these guidelines: have elements with the translucent texture lower in the order in the elements list (Outliner)

If something has a rotation to it, it needs to be its own bone, and you'll have to reconfigure the formatting of the rotation. It places the rotation of the bone with the origin.
